Qld: 200,000 asked to explain non-vote

Around 200,000 Queenslanders will be asked to explain why they failed to vote in this
month's state election.

State Electoral Commissioner BOB LONGLAND says people who don't have an adequate excuse
for not voting will be fined $37.50.
