This is in reference to the article in the Times Union on Oct. 12 entitled "Finances force debate on schools." All we could think was, here we go again.
After the meeting at Grafton Elementary School regarding its closure last year, it seemed very clear to us that the decision was already made before the meeting took place. Thanks to Sen. Joseph Bruno, Rensselaer County legislators Stan Brownell and Lester Goodermote, Assemblyman Roy McDonald, along with all the support from parents, Grafton staff and the Grafton community, it survived another school year.
