Mar. 22--CHANG REVIEW DELAYED:

STOCK MARKET: The Stock Exchange of Thailand board has delayed plans to review the thai beverages listing indefinitely, according to exchange president Kittiratt Na Ranong.

Mr Kittiratt said the SET board had been due to review the listing of Thai Beverages tomorrow, but had decided to delay the meeting indefinitely in order to "study all the potential implications".

If approved, the listing of Thai Beverages, the owner of Chang Beer and Mekhong rum, will be the largest private offering in SET history.

But hundreds of religious and social activist groups have come out to oppose the listing on moral grounds, arguing that it was inappropriate for a liquor producer to raise funds from the capital market. …
